In 2016, Darren Clark (composer & lyricist) and Rhys Jennings (book writer) won the inaugural MTI Mentorship Award for their musical The Wicker Husband. The Award is part of our annual Stiles + Drewe Prize.

In this video, Darren talks about his experience on the writers' retreat with us in France and why you should enter your musical!

The deadline for the Stiles + Drewe Prize 2017 is Wednesday 25th January.

There are two arms to the Prize, to recognise work at different stages of development.  If you have the first draft of a new musical, you can enter it for the MTI Mentorship Award. If you have a song from a new musical, you can enter it for Best New Song. You must be a member of Mercury Musical Developments to submit an entry.
