Submissions now open for Stiles + Drewe Prize 2017

Calling all musical theatre writers! Submissions are now open for the Stiles + Drewe Prize 2017. You have until the 25th January to get your entries in.

The Prize has two distinct arms, to recognise writing at different stages of development.

1) MTI Stiles + Drewe Mentorship Award - now in its second year, this is an award given to a writer or writing team with a full first draft of a musical. The Award is centred around a one week writing retreat and culminates in an industry showcase presentation the following year. The Award is generously supported by Music Theatre International (Europe).

2) Best New Song - recognises an outstanding song from a new musical. This is offered in conjunction with the Sondheim Society Student Performer of the Year Award.
